Farmer in paddock of oats

After hearing about the expectational results coming from Upper Murray Seeds latest release, Lavish Forage Oats, Andrew Dillon was excited to try the late-maturing variety.

In late February it was sown into heavy loam river soil at 60kg/ha in Bindera, NSW.

Andrew selected Lavish Oats for “its ability to be sown very early in the season and its persistency to last right through until late spring.”

He was impressed with the emergence stating, “germination was great, very impressed with the vigorous growth it produces right through the season.”

In Andrew’s words, “Lavish has proved to be a great asset to our farm and exceeded expectations without a doubt!”
